Dragon’s Beard Candy is a traditional Chinese sweet that dates back hundreds of years. It is prepared by hand-pulling firm malt into thousands of delicious, melt-in-the-mouth thin threads resembling its namesake “dragon’s beard”. 

During the 1.5-hour workshop, watch and learn directly from Dragon’s Beard Candy masters Roger and Elaine Poon from Singapore Dragon’s Beard.  Participants will learn the history and legends of this imperial delicacy, plus try their hand at making around 10 candies with Coconut and Peanut fillings. 

Dragon’s Elixirs are crispy 100% malt Dragon's Beard Delicacies that allow the consumer to exhale Dragon’s clouds. This delicacy is an edible creation by Singaporean Roger Poon, Dragon Bead's Candy Master, in an effort to give a modern update to this ancient handmade Dragon's Beard sweet treat! It’s time for the return of Dragon’s Elixirs (only available in Singapore) to usher in the Lunar Year of the Dragon! 

Every participant will have a chance to taste the exclusive Dragon’s Elixirs made personally by the Dragon Beard’s Candy masters and experience what it is like to be a roaring dragon, emitting a dragon's misty breath. Enjoy the delicacies filled with peanut, coconut and sesame, and capture the unforgettable moment with Instagram-worthy photos. 

Each participant will also receive a complimentary pack of specially designed red packets and Betsubara ice-cream voucher worth $6.
