For four decades, Marina Square has been part of Singaporeans’ lives, bringing generations together through countless everyday moments and lasting memories. From 23 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, join us at the 40 Years & Beyond: A Place That Grew With Us exhibition as we celebrate 40 years of shared stories, familiar places and the people who have made Marina Square what it is today. The exhibition is located at the Marina Square, Level 2 Foyer (opposite Turtle) and open from 10am to 10pm, daily.

Travel back to 1986, when Marina Square first opened its doors and the Marina Bay waterfront was still taking shape. Discover how the mall has evolved alongside Singapore, from the days of Tokyu and Metro department stores, Eng Wah Cinema and SuperBowl, to the familiar meeting spots that generations of visitors remember fondly.

Explore three curated exhibition zones that bring Marina Square’s past, present and future to life. Discover the story behind the mall’s beginnings and architectural heritage, revisit the everyday experiences that made it a beloved gathering place, and share your hopes for the next chapter.

Drop-In Sessions & Workshops
The celebration continues beyond the exhibition with a series of creative activities inspired by Marina Square’s architecture, tenants and 40 years of cherished memories. Whether you’re looking for a fun weekend activity with family or friends, or simply a little creative time for yourself, there’s something special waiting for you! Each activity offers a chance to try something new, celebrate Marina Square’s rich heritage and bring home a one-of-a-kind keepsake to remember the occasion.
